The startup studio model is difficult because a startup studios main task is to find "founders without an idea" and "ideas" and combine the two. Only then the studio can justify taking a larger share of the new company.
And taking a larger share is necessary for the startup studio economy to work out at all.
"Founders with an idea" don't need startup studios. They can just go with normal VC for their first round.
