Not necessarily: this is an example of survivorship bias, because planes which got hit in the green dots probably never returned home to their base.



Besides survivorship bias there are tens or maybe even hundreds more biases that can screw with your perception of reality.



In customer research it's especially important to be aware of those to make sure you're not drawing the wrong conclusion.
